University Medicine Rostock (www.med.uni-rostock.de) is the maximum care hospital in the region of Rostock, a high potential growth region.
The Institute for Biostatistics and Informatics in Medicine and Ageing Research at the
Rostock University Medical Center (Germany) is offering a position for a Postdoc (f/m/d),
funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
We are seeking an enthusiastic postdoc holding a doctoral degree with a suitable
background in computing or life sciences and an interest in longevity / aging / health
research. The planned start of the contract is as soon as possible for up to 3 years
(salary is according to TV-L full-time employment).

Your tasks and perspective:

You will use traditional bioinformatics and generative AI approaches to analyze longevity
and chronic disease intervention-related datasets. Most of the scientific background can

Qualifications:

Interdisciplinary interest in molecular cell biology and omics data, optimally longevity.
Programming/ scripting skills, e.g. in Python/ Java/ R.
High personal commitment, time flexibility, creativity and enjoyment of working in a team.
Good communication skills (English, oral and writing).
